Vicky L. Schiff grew up in an entrepreneurial real estate family and is a highly experienced real estate executive. Her investment career began in the early 1990s with Summit Commercial/Highridge Partners in LA where she worked on over $1B in transactions. She is a career entrepreneur, co-founding 4 firms over the past 18 years including a self-storage company with over 100 employees; an $400+ Million institutional Real Estate Fund of Funds; and a boutique investment banking firm which raised over $6 Billion for top-tier real estate and private equity firms. In 2010, she founded Oro Capital Advisors to create value for investors by investing in debt and distressed assets in target markets across the U.S. The firm was later merged with Mindlin Companies and currently owns/operates approximately 4MM square feet in NV, NC, TX, OK, FL, OH and CA.

Ms. Schiff has been a speaker at real estate, emerging manager and executive conferences. She has written for various publications and has appeared on Bloomberg TV. Ms. Schiff serves as an Senior Advisor to several start-up companies in the real estate related space, and serves on the board of a publicly traded Company in Canada. Committed to both public service and non profits, she served a 3 year term as a Commissioner for the Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System and as: a board member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO); Council Chair of YPO’s Global Real Estate Network; Regional Chair of YPO’s Women’s Network; Advisory Board of The Robert Toigo Foundation; Advisory Board of The Lusk Center for Real Estate at USC and was the Co-Founder of PoWRE, an elite group of C-Suite Executive women public and private company real estate investors. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 1988, and an MBA at UCLA in 1996. She enjoys endurance sports and writing and lives in Pacific Palisades, CA with her husband and son.
