History
Los Angeles business leader Mark Stagen founded Youth Business Alliance in 2012. Mark wanted to introduce successful business leaders to motivated high school students in under-served neighborhoods. By forging this connection, students could gain the keys to career and business success through lessons on soft skills, career readiness, financial literacy and business / entrepreneurship. Through Mark’s vision, YBA students continue to learn from YBA’s curriculum and our network of successful professionals. Student learning includes behind the scenes business field trips, project-based learning, mentors, peer support and a network of professional contacts.
