Tony Moraga is the Community Relations Officer for BBVA Compass in Southern California and serves as the bank's local champion for lending, investments and services for community development efforts. He also helps manage certain services for low- to moderate-income individuals and neighborhoods, such as financial education and charitable contributions, and promotes access to capital and homeownership through the bank's small business lending and community mortgage programs.

Prior to his role at BBVA Compass, Tony managed various non-profit organizations and programs focused on asset-building to support the LGBT community in building pathways to success. His specific expertise is in business planning and access to capital ranging from micro-lending to venture funding. Having run both local and national organizations, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in organizational development, impact and sustainability.

Tony received a B.A. from San Diego State University in International Business and speaks Spanish and French.
