Maya Myers is an award winning lifestyle documentary photographer based in Los Angeles and New York, specializing in luxury weddings and special events. Her wedding images have won awards with the Wedding Photojournalists Association (WPJA), International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP), and Fearless Photographers, and she has been published in a variety of outlets including BRIDES, The Knot, Destination I Do Magazine, The New York Times Style section, Newsweek, Los Angeles Times Magazine, The Huffington Post, Style Me Pretty, Style Unveiled, Ceremony Magazine Blog, Variety, InStyle, W, and many more.
Maya’s other projects have involved teaching at risk youth for the Step Up Women's Network and Venice Arts, and she regularly photographs marketing campaigns and events for education and youth based organizations including Human Rights Watch, American Jewish World Service, Facing History and Ourselves and College Spring.
