Mike Flannery has been working in some aspect of theatre since 1994 and has tried almost everything you can do. However, his specialty is rigging. He made Peter Pan fly in college and he’s been 'hooked' ever since.

His career took him on tour with My Chemical Romance and to Las Vegas to work on Le Reve at the Wynn. But in 2015 he decided to finish his degree and become a scenic designer with the goals of working on Broadway and with Walt Disney Imagineering. When he spoke to a counselor, they discovered Mike had been only one class away from a degree for almost 20 years. He left Pierce College with an AA in Technical Theatre, ADT in Theatre Arts and a Technical Education Certificate in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design. He plans to continue his education at CSUN and UCLA.

Collaboration is what really motivates him. He loves working with people in such a creative and industrious field. The show must go on" is as true a statement as ever.
