Linda K. Menzel was named General Counsel of Loot Crate, Inc., a subscription box company that delivers crates of awesome to those that live and embrace the geek, gaming and pop culture lifestyles, in June 2015. Ms. Menzel serves as the chief legal officer of the company and is responsible for all aspects of Loot Crate’s legal affairs around the world, including advising the company on subscription commerce compliance matters. Previously, Ms. Menzel was Associate General Counsel – Licensing Business Affairs at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. for three years. In that capacity she guided the company through numerous international consumer product, entertainment, land-based entertainment, venue and retail transactions as well as compliance and trademark matters.

Ms. Menzel joined Nervous Tattoo, Inc., a consumer product company operating under the brand name Ed Hardy, in October 2008 serving as General Counsel. Prior to Nervous Tattoo, she served as General Counsel for Cygne Designs, Inc. (f/k/a Diversified Apparel Resources, Inc.), a denim apparel manufacturing company, where, among other things, she led the company through its transition to a public company. Previously, Ms. Menzel joined the international law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP in 1998 where she initially focused on commercial litigation matters and after a few years transitioned to the corporate services team, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, public company and other general corporate matters. Previously, she was an associate attorney for two years at a boutique commercial litigation firm located in Milwaukee.

Ms. Menzel, a native of Milwaukee, received a B.A. degree from University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her J.D. degree summa cum laude from Marquette University.
