I'm from Philadelphia originally, but I left home at 16 and lived in Germany on a government-funded exchange program called Congress Bundestag. At 18, I moved to New York and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), spending time during college aboard in Italy and France, and graduating with a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications.

About a year after college, I was eager to combine my focus on marketing and business and my love of the lifestyle industry (fashion, beauty, etc.) with something in the international arena. I found the perfect fit at the British Consulate General, as part of their UK Trade & Investment team.

I spent close to 6 years with UK Trade & Investment at the British Consulate General New York as Vice Consul of Consumer Goods, covering a range of industries and supporting hundreds of UK companies in developing and executing their US strategies. Many of the brands I worked with were interested in BritWeek and wanted to get involved. In 2012, BritWeek Founders Bob Peirce and Sharon Harroun Peirce asked if I would get involved....as Britweek's Executive Director. It was a perfect fit!

Currently, I'm Executive Director of BritWeek, which hosts exciting events all over the country celebrating the British cultural contribution to the US in art, music, science, business, technology, retail, fashion, and more. In 2014, BritWeek Los Angeles hosted 41 events, receiving 500 million media impressions and directly reaching 150,000+ people.
