Heather Lindsey offers ten years of operations, strategy, legal, and management experience. In addition to having helped start several successful ventures, she has worked for publicly traded and closely held, small businesses. Heather’s amassed skills include project and general management, legal counsel, business development, research, licensing, business affairs, and asset management. Along with being a respected operator, advisor and mentor, Heather has supervised, negotiated, or managed over $100 million in investments, obligations, and assets.

Prior to joining CheckLight Home Services LP, where Heather serves as the President, she served at Crowdfunder as COO, managing legal, human relations, finance, regulatory affairs, project management, and day to day operations.

Heather worked as the Vice President of Dev-Land Inc., a real estate development and management company. While at Dev-Land Inc, Heather oversaw all aspects of operations and the property management and development.

Heather served as a Director at Lucky Brand Dungarees, Inc., where working directly with the executive team she managed a variety of legal, real estate, site management, real estate, and licensing projects.

Early in her career, Heather was in Business Development at Carsdirect.com, during which time the company grew from 35 employees to hundreds, and where she worked with the executive team to analyze expansion markets, acquisitions, and managed affiliate programs. Heather was also one of the first team members at Adforce, which was subsequently acquired by CMGI. This experience offered Heather her first Internet start-up experience and her first successful exit.

Heather is a member of the California Bar and holds a DRE Brokers license. She earned her master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School, her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, and her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Heather is a Milken Young Leader and co-chairs groups within Conservation International, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, among other charitable organizations. Heather additionally serves on the several hosts committees in her community. An avid traveler, her most recent travels include Europe to see family and friends, Saudi Arabia, India, Qatar, and Madagascar and Mexico with Conservation International.

Having grown up in Ranch Santa Fe, Heather continue to consider both L.A. and San Diego home, and Heather splits time between Venice, CA and Del Mar, CA.
