Graduated from Emerson College in 2006 with a degree in Interactive Media, Galen's background in production includes film titles like Beowulf and Open Season, as well as games like Company of Heroes and Dawn of War. He soon moved into Finance with local ecards company JibJab Media, followed by managing content acquisition at MTV's Comedy Central. After obtaining a Master, Business Administration in Italy, Galen spent 2 years at IGN in San Francisco managing video business development, content strategy, and successfully growing revenues. After having returned to his beloved Los Angeles, he spent a some time at Disney Digital, spearheading distribution of content from the likes of PewDiePie and CaptainSparklez. He managed Dailymotion's content acquisition and publisher development team, partnering with content publishers like Smosh and Red Bull. Now, he acts as Head of Strategic Partnerships for digital linear video service Pluto TV, partnering with device OEMs like Roku, PlayStation, and Vizio to distribute Pluto's applications.
