This position is open to a) students enrolled in a high school working towards a high school diploma or in possession of an equivalent credential or b) full-time college students enrolled in technology related programs.
What You Need to Know Before Applying:
📌 Application Deadline: 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026
📌 Eligibility: Students in grades 9-12 attending a public high school in Los Angeles County are eligible to apply.
📌 Meetings are Mandatory: Please review the meeting dates before applying.
📌 Parent/Guardian Consent: Proof of parent or legal guardian permission will be required if selected.

Our locations offers free, healthy meals to kids and teens through summer. Our partner agencies provide the sites and serve meals in public locations throughout the California. Many Summer Meals sites offer breakfast, lunch, and/or a snack.
The California CareerZone helps students, educators, jobseekers, and others access up-to-date information on wages, job openings, and other information specific to their state along with great information on careers, colleges, and more.

Program Finder was designed to connect students in California K-12 Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways to Community College Career Education Pathways (i.e. CTE TOP Coded programs).

We support the recruitment of talented, high-achieving high school seniors who are either first-generation college students and/or from a rural or lower socioeconomic background, and/or students who do not have the means to visit campus.
