Yuvaraj Sivalingam is a public policy, strategic communications, and national security professional. He currently serves as a consultant for non-profit and corporate clients managing coalitions, supporting policy advocacy campaigns, conducting policy research and impact assessments for c-suite executives, and providing strategic communications advice.

Previously, Yuvaraj served in the Obama Administration in a variety of roles in the Departments of Defense, Commerce, and the Treasury. At the Department of Defense, Yuvaraj served as Chief of Staff in the Office of Stability and Humanitarian Affairs and later as Special Assistant to the Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy covering a range of national security and defense policy issues including counterterrorism, humanitarian operations and policy, Africa and the Middle East, and detention operations. Prior to joining the Department of Defense, Yuvaraj was Special Assistant to Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker.

Yuvaraj is a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project and Policy Director for the Orange County Young Democrats. He received an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science and BA in Political Science from the Johns Hopkins University.
