Bio

I'm currently employed as a Fan Service Representative for Los Angeles Dodgers. I have worked in Sales and Service most of my life. I moved to Watts from the West Side shortly after my dad died when I was 7 in 1969. My mother was an Activist, Heroin Addict and The City Attorney's Secretary of Compton. She started shooting Heroin at Jefferson High in early 50's. I was and only child and so was my mom.
Even though she became an Addict she knew the importance of an education. She finished school and went to college. Because of her I try to give back to the Community every chance I get.
As a child I never knew exactly what I wanted to be. All I knew I really wanted to do was see the World. My family had a history of mental illness. So, I wanted to be a Psychiatric Technician or a Judge. I was accepted into a PT Program. Since I didn't have a High School Diploma so I couldn't pursue it. Even though I passed the High School exit exam 112 out of 120 questions. At that time I didn't feel that it mattered. My thinking was it would be better to put the time and energy into a Degree. I went to several Colleges and Vocational Schools including UCLA Extension, Southwest College, Mt Sac, Devry and AIU. I have majored in Interior Design, Telecommunications, Media Production and International Business. Everything I have studied, before I finished my Degree I would already be working in the field. At which time I realized it was not for me.
My job with SBC Pacific Bell/ Pacific Bell was relocated out of State. I realized that $60.000.00 was comfortable living. But it is not enough money if I wanted to be able to help people. So I took the LSAT to see if I would pass without a Diploma. Of course I passed. I took the GED I'm currently employed as a Fan Service Representative for Los Angeles Dodgers. At which time I decided to live my dreams and do everything on my bucket list. I traveled the world in my thirties. I was the Boots on the ground in Colorado for OFA in 2012. I decided to work for the Dodgers because I was a part of Jackie Robinson Youth Foundation as a child and the Dodgers always believed in Diversity and helping the Community. I am in the Process of starting my own Insurance Company. Hood Insurance". Through trial and error I realized everyone needs Insurance in the Hood. I'm starting that business to seed my dream business which is . Velveteen Rabbit Project .A first 1st time Offender Reentry Program.
