I am a first generation college student who grew up in a challenging household including drug addiction, poverty, and abuse. With determination and supportive high school teachers, I enrolled in a small liberal arts schools. I earned scholarships and took out student loans to support myself through college, graduate school, and doctoral school. I founded Dream AcadeME while earning my doctorate degree and from inspiration I gathered over the years teaching and at USC. Dream AcadeME is currently seeking support for expansion and fundraising for the development of an outreach program called, Homeschool-on-Wheels
