I'm a biological oceanographer by training, with extensive field and laboratory experience. My work has taken place in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, Catalina Island, and even the Dry Valleys of Antarctica, but my true passion lies in working with students. I'm now a professor whose focus is teaching, and I also work with students on research projects with real world implications and importance. I balance this work with my home life with my husband and two young children.
