Owner, entrepreneur and innovative leader behind the success of the One-Dollar-Bookstore merged his love of books with his passion to support the community and promote literacy. Piccolo began his concept by selling high quality Used Books, Videos & Music at his first store in Long Beach, CA in 2006. His principle was simple: Get books to the public for only $1 each; a bargain so reasonable even a child can buy a book; a book of any kind, and with the few coins they saved in their own piggy bank.

Piccolo’s Mission is to provide affordable books to all. He offers Fund-Raising opportunities to assist schools and the community by promoting literacy and protecting our children's right to read, learn and grow through free speech. Piccolo is firmly committed to save the planet one book at a time; by re-using, recycling, and reclaiming our right to keep the written word alive on paper for future generations. Piccolos Gift of Knowledge Program provides free Books to any teacher, school or library in need Worldwide. Every Week he gives away from 1,000 to 50,000 books...for FREE! Needing to fulfill the communities desire for the Arts. Piccolo teamed with the Alumni of of Inner City Cultural Center; the first Multicultural Arts Institute in the country in an effort to provide affordable Community Theatre.
