This company was created to identify and support female writers, producers and directors who are making films to raise awareness about gender inequality and violence against women, particularly rape and human trafficking. My first venture was as an Executive Producer of “India’s Daughter,” and my next project is about the court case against Back Page of the Village Voice which is the advertising section promoting the sale of underage girls for sex and pornography.
Prior to entering the business world Lorna was a substitute teacher in East L.A. for the L.A. Unified School District until she landed a permanent job teaching ESL and Model United Nations at Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights where she worked for seven years, obtaining along the way a Bilingual Credential and an Administrative Credential.
