Born and raised in Nashville, TN. Graduated from Wheaton College in Norton MA in 1969.
Graduate degree in Special Ed from Lesley College, Cambridge MA 1972. Taught inner-city children with emotional and learning problems. Then worked in hotel, started own fashion marketing company, designed and marketed workout wear line, sold real estate for 10 years, all in Boston. Moved to La Jolla CA in 1994. Attended USC film school summer program in 1995. Started writing films. Became a student of Nonviolence and started a nonprofit organization, Freedoms' Children in 2001. In 2005 launched our company GoCommandos patches. Continue to work in manufacturing and marketing of GoCommandos. Also working on film projects, including a documentary film on baseball scouts. Wrote a book for middle-school children, Walking the Walk
