Grew up in a farming town of fewer than 1,000 people in central Wisconsin, daughter of a math teacher and a homemaker. First person on my mom's side of the family to earn a four-year degree. Attended the University of Chicago for undergraduate and business school. First job out of college was as an analyst at JP Morgan in New York. Realized that I like building businesses better than amplifying money for money's sake, so I switched to start-ups. I have been very fortunate to have three of four previous start-ups acquired. Recently joined Three Day Rule as COO, to professionalize and scale matchmaking across the US. 7th year in Los Angeles, live in Silver Lake with my husband, a southern California native, and our boxer-bulldog.
