Heather began her career in finance as an Investment Strategy Analyst with Citigroup. She then transitioned into the digital media / tech start up world by helping companies, such as Who What Wear, Violet Grey & Vow to be Chic, with their financial projections, business plans, investor pitch decks, market research and business strategy. After working with a large number of private, creative, female clients, Heather realized there was a serious lack of formal business training amongst creative women professionals. This led her to launch Above the Glass, with the mission to convey complicated business content in an approachable, digestible way. She is passionate about empowering women through information, and has used her startup experience within digital media, fashion, beauty and tech, to directly teach these women what she has learned . Heather holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
