Elissa Fisher Harris is an experienced Health, Wellness and Natural Products Industries strategist. With a 27 year career and personal history establishing herself as a healthy living expert, Elissa's vast knowledge, hands on experience and intuitive understanding of consumer and company needs led to additional acquired skill sets in marketing, branding, consumer communications, sales management, business development, public speaking well as brand education for public and trade audiences. Currently Elissa holds a dual role as Director of Consumer Communications and Brand Wellness Expert Spokesperson for Source Naturals and Planetary Herbals, the pioneers of the herbal and dietary supplement industry.

Elissa has owned a Healthy Living Strategy Consulting company for 25 years. Holding dual certifications in Corporate Wellness and Individual Wellness Coaching, she developed integrative healthy living programs for individuals and corporations. For 10 of those years Elissa also advocated for cancer patients and their families, educating them about healthy living and integrative medical care and matching them with licensed integrative health care professionals and centers all over the world. She has also been invited to speak at multiple organizations and events about her life story and all topics related to achieving sustainable physical, emotional and environmental health and well-being. Elissa’s passion for all things wellness and healthy living was a direct result of resolving her own health issues in her 20’s then later in life by the age of 34 loosing 2 husbands to the same rare cancer that only affects 10,000 per year in the U.S. and is often attributed to environmental causes and toxic foods.
Elissa acted as the U.S. based communications and education consultant for an international integrative health clinic in Germany for 7 years, also creating the education platform to help bridge the gap between conventional and integrative medicine for both medical and patient audiences between Germany and the U.S.
For 2 years Elissa served as the interim CMO, then VP of communications for CellHealth Institute, an advanced stem cell technology company that had both high-level stem cell research projects and consumer based health products designed to support healthy cell production.
Elissa’s most proud accomplishment was playing an instrumental role in the passage of California bill SB907, which granted Naturopathic Doctors licensure in the state of California. Her efforts lead to an esteemed appointment to the Bureau of Naturopathic Medicine by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2004 and the honorable unanimous election as chair of the bureau by naturopathic and medical doctor peers.
A huge proponent of DNA/Genetic testing as a method to create truly individualized preventive health programs, Elissa sits on the advisory board of Caligenixâ„¢, a genetic-based health and wellness lifestyle company based in Southern California.
Due to her experience and relationships in corporate wellness, Elissa was invited to participate in a collaborative meetings of global business thought leaders and CEOs in various sectors to form 100% Human at Work, an organization to set a global standard for corporate well being and culture, founded by Richard Branson's Virgin Unite. Elissa was also appointed Corporate Wellness Expert Advisor to the Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc and Endeavor Plus, an innovative, patent-pending health insurance company offering wellness coverage and education.
Elissa’s extraordinary knowledge of all things health and wellness combined with her warm, genuine and inviting personality that connects so well to all audiences led to a regular monthly corporate and individual health and wellness expert guest spot on the nationally syndicated radio show, Business Rockstars in 2016 and as a brand wellness expert, educator and spokesperson on other national radio like Let’s Talk Nutrition.
In addition to all of Elissa’s experience as a strategist in the health and wellness fields, she is a master networker and connector between a wide range of organizations and individuals in general.
