Bio:
For nearly two decades Deborah has brought to audiences worldwide game-changing ideas, scientific breakthroughs, and eyewitness reports from the frontlines of research, exploration, and social change by working with National Geographic explorers to craft and tour their stories. Earlier in her career, she forged strategic alliances with touring Broadway shows, musicians, arts centers, and the Sundance, SXSW, and Cannes film festivals to bring the transformative power of art and film to local communities for Bravo and the Independent Film Channel. A TEDster since 2015 and TEDx Council Member starting in 2018, she is committed to creating a more sustainable future and helping us better understand one another through “ideas worth spreading.”
