I serve as Chief Operating Officer/CCO for Hawk Ridge Capital Management, an SEC registered long/short equity investment manager. Most simply, I run the firm and manage the ops team so the investment team can conduct their research and portfolio management without distraction.

2005-2013 I served as Chief Operating Officer/CCO for Sirius Advisors LLC, an SEC and California registered investment firm which managed $500 million in health care equities for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and later ran a long/short equity hedge fund.

During my career I have gained expertise in: regulatory compliance; project management; team leadership; marketing; public speaking; non-profit board service; business analysis; fund/management company accounting; and overall running investment firms to the standard required by institutional operational diligence teams.

I graduated from Claremont McKenna College cum laude with a B.A. in economics in 2003. Off the desk I am a Member of the CFA Society Los Angeles Board of Governors, Chair of the CFALA Career Development Committee, Member of the Laguna Blanca School Board of Trustees, Member of the Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance Board, and a Member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.
