Damien Orozco founded his business Iron Dog Fitness Personal Training, in January of 2008 after working seven years at Bally Total Fitness and three years at Gold's Gym in Downtown Los Angeles, where he worked as a Personal Trainer and held several Management positions. Damien's career began back in May of 1998 after deciding to pursue his hobby in the fitness industry. He was honored as the Ambassador of the Year for the Commerce Industrial Council Chamber. He now serves as the Ambassador Chair. He also received several awards for Board Member of the Year from the Monterey Park Chamber. He is currently serving as a Board member of the Asian Youth Center in San Gabriel, CA. He takes pride in serving as the Board Member for the Alliance of Multi-Cultural Entrepreneurs and volunteering to publish their email marketing campaigns. He takes pride in knowing he served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Police Department Centurions Football Team. They play semi-pro football to raise money for the Blind Children's Center of Los Angeles. He holds certifications through the International Kettlebell & Fitness Federation, IYCA Nutrition Specialist, USA Weightlifting, and USA Track & Field. In his latest endeavors, he started his LegalShield business, where he helps to provide legal and identity theft protection for individuals, families, and businesses. Early in high school, he found math a challenging subject, and his struggles continued through college.
He always remembers his Algebra and Geometry professor at East LA College, Mr. David Morin. His memory of the time and sacrifice that College Professor Morin took to help Damien understand math made him realize how important tutoring and mentoring is for low-income disadvantaged students in poverty-stricken communities. He now holds a Bachelor's of Science in Holistic Medicine and a Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine from South Baylo University.
The Covid virus pandemic caused and is currently still impacting many families and businesses to struggle financially and emotionally. Still, during this period, Damien re-discovered his passion for social media and email marketing, so he decided to start a new company named Xocial Gong, LLC. His main goal through this new venture is to find success and, through that success, evolve a unique opportunity to give more back to his community than he's ever done before.
