Charles earned his BA in Communication/Advertising with an emphasis in Management graduating cum laude from San Diego State University and his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

Charles was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up economically underprivileged taught Charles the importance of treating all people well and creating opportunities for those who have potential, but lack the resources which they need to succeed. At the age of 12, Charles began putting this passion into practice by teaching recovering alcoholics and drug addicts at the Bay Area Rescue Mission the skills necessary to earn their GED. To this day, he is still involved with the Bay Area Rescue Mission.
