I am a 57 year old mother and business woman. I have 2 daughters, 27, Melanie, who is an internationally acclaimed journalist for MIC in New York and writes on women's issues, and 25, Jodi, who is a nanny and works with children with autism and will be going to grad school to get her Master's in Speech Therapy. My children are my proudest accomplishment. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and lived all over Southern California, attended UC Irvine for 2 years and graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Accounting. I immediately went in to sales and started in recruiting in 1985. I started my own business in 1993 and run a very successful recruiting firm. I was married for 26 years and now single. I am a Rotarian and pride myself on service above self. I am involved in the YMCA Capital Campaign every year raising money for those less fortunate. I do a 50 mile walk for Multiple Sclerosis every year and walk with the Tough Kitties. I am a surfer, paddler, kite surfer, and have 3 rescue dogs.
