A New York Native, I moved to southern California to complete my degree and begin a career in higher education. With over 10 years of higher education experience working in areas of student success, advising, program development, veterans affairs, online learning, new student orientation, and TRiO/federal grants, I help students gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Currently, I am the Director of the CA Student Opportunity & Access Program at CSU, Long Beach which is designed to increase the accessibility of post-secondary educational opportunities for underrepresented high school students by providing services related to college preparation, career readiness, financial aid assistance, and academic motivation. To maintain a local and global perspective, I have actively partnered with non-profit agencies and community groups locally and abroad. In my free time, I’m busy reading, hiking, cooking, visiting friends, traveling, watching tv/movies, and learning Korean.
