We are looking for a professional in the STEM field (doctor, engineer, chemist, nurse etc.) to present to two AVID 11 classes. Students are interested in learning about your experience in the field, your pathway and your educational background.
Questions to Consider: What does your day to day look like? Salary? Recommended level of education? How competitive is this industry? What inspires you? What would you recommend for students who are interested in this field?
Location: Orange High School – College & Career Center (Room 601)
Technology: You will have access to WiFi. We also have an HDMi cord to connect your laptop directly to the television. Please notify us if you have a MacBook, in order to request the proper equipment to connect to the television. If you have a video (i.e. YouTube) you will not be able to show it due to school website restrictions.
Parking: You may park in the faculty parking lot, please excuse the construction.
Upon Your Arrival: Please have ID ready, as you will be asked to present it at the front of the school. Nohely or Abril will be in front of the school to receive you.
Time: 10:15 AM – Arrival & Set Up 10:18 AM – 11:15 AM – 1st Class 11:20 AM – 12:15 PM – 2nd Class
